Though, the Italian-based automaker showcased new Ghibli and 6th generation Quattroporte at the event, it will also sell GranCabrio and GranTurismo in the country. Exciting, isn’t it? Well, Maserati is also working on a Sports Utility Vehicle, which will be marketed in 2016 internationally alongside India.

Motivation for the Maserati Ghibli will come from a 3.0 liter diesel engine, which is good for churning out 275 horsepower with 570 newton meters of torque. The engine will be paired with 8-speed automatic gearbox. Brand’s another luxury flagship sedan, the Quattroporte with 9700 units last year, stands second in the list. It will be offered with a choice of 3.8 liter V8 and 3.0 liter V6 petrol powerplants, in addition to a 3.0 liter V6 diesel one. On the other hand, the GranCabrio and GranTurismo will be propelled by either 4.2 liter or 4.7 liter V8 petrol engines.

The automaker is planning to expand in other parts of India, and aims to set up dealerships in Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai and Ahmedabad.

Prices of Maserati Cars in India:

Maserati Quattroporte GTS petrol – Rs. 2.2 crore

Maserati Quattroporte diesel – Rs. 1.5 crore

Maserati GranTurismo – Rs. 1.8 crore
