Mercedes Benz India Limited, the first premium car manufacturer in India have relaunched the Maybach in India last night. This comes close on the heels of the advent of many luxury brands in India and the need for a super luxury badge. Mercedes Benz India’s Managing Director and CEO Peter Hanger was quoted as telling all the reporters present that he was glad that the company had come up with this decision and he expects that the attention to detail as well as latest technology in the cars would appeal to the targeted clientele.

There are two variants of the car launched in India and those are the 5980 CC Maybach 57 S and the 5513 CC Maybach 62. The former can go all the way to a top speed of 276 kmph whereas the latter is said to achieve 252 kmph. The 5513 CC Maybach 62 would be priced at Rs 4.85 crore whereas the 5980 CC Maybach 57 S will be costlier at Rs 5.10 crores. Once we get our hands on either one of them, we would give you a test drive report of the same.
