That’s it! The wait got over with the unveiling of G-class facelift. Those off-road lovers who are destined to buy a one for them can now go for the fresh face of G-Class in their garage. The new Glendwagens revealed are majorly worked upon the engine bay for an ultimately thrilled package, where the power of horses is increased even in the lower-spec versions.
Taking its cosmetic side first, as there isn’t a number of them to explain. The bumpers are revised and the wheel arches of AMG in body color are now standard across all variants. And G350d now owns 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels (light) in the standard list.
At the engine bay, G500 revives power of 422PS and 610NM of torque from a biturbo V8 of 4.0-liter. The 0-100km/h is clocked in 5.9 seconds.
The G350d is benefitted from the hike in power to 245PS (from 211PS) and 600NM of torque (from 540NM) which enables it to clock the 0-100km/h in 8.9 seconds.
Even the AMG models get a boost of power as delivering 571PS, an extra 27PS, with 760NM of torque. The G65 on other side now produces 630PS rather than 612PS alongside the peak torque of 1000Nm.
Mercedes-Benz also introduces new AMG EDITION 463 of G-Class which will own the interiors with two-tone instrument panel, dual-tone leather seats, diamond design, contrast stitching, and door pulls in Nappa leather. Stainless steel underguard, stripes of AMG running across the sides and 21-inch forged wheels makes up to the completion.
