M&M plans to roll out SsangYong Rexton sport utility vehicle in 7 more cities

Today, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M) had made declaration that it would roll out its premium sport utility vehicle, the SsangYong Rexton in 7 novel cities.

As per reports, the company will launch the premium sport utility vehicle in the new zones on November 20, 2012.

The well known auto giant will introduce Rexton in the cities of Patiala, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Ludhiana in addition to Chandigarh, during the second stage of the launch.

The company had previously introduced the SsangYong Rexton in the markets of Mumbai as well as the nation capital in the last month (Oct 2012).

The said vehicle is fabricated at the company’s Chakan facility near Pune by sourcing constituents from SsangYong, Korea as well as from the Indian market.

While talking about the launch of Rexton in fresh zones, Mr. Pravin Shah, Chief Executive, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd. stated, “For M&M, the introduction of the SsangYong Rexton in October 2012 marked a significant occasion in our automotive drive. We are now stretching the offering of this hi-end sport utility vehicle to the distinguishing Indian consumer in Patiala, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, and Ludhiana in addition to Chandigarh.”

He added, “I’m positive that the Rexton with its ideal blend of pleasure, elegance, approach and performance will shape a niche for itself with consumers within these novel cities”.
