New 2011 Indica e-Xeta to Replace Present Indica

The new Indica e-Xeta from Tata Motors replaces the current Indica. While the car does look similar to the current Indica, it features a lot of changes, both in the exterior and interiors. The new Indica e-Xeta features bright use of colours, a chrome grille at the front, along with new alloy wheels.

New features include rear and front fog lights, a central locking system with remote, a child safety lock, a collapsible steering, power windows, Bluetooth connectivity, keyless entry and AUX and USB ports.

This new car will also be available in different fuel options, including petrol plus LPG powered engine, and a petrol engine. Tata Motors has also ensured that this car is compliant with BSIV standards; with a fuel tank capacity for the petrol engine around 37 litres.

It is also equipped with power assisted pinion and rack hydraulic steering. The engine is also paired with a manual 5 speed gear box. The new Indica’s GLS and GL variants will be available in both engine options, whereas the petrol engine option is also available in the GLX and GLE variants.

The new Indica e-Xeta will be offered in colour schemes of Arctic Silver, Mint Green, Neo Orange and Apple Green.
