New 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class rolled out at Rs. 41.5 lakh

Mercedes-Benz India has rolled out the brand-new 2014 E-Class in the Indian market at a price of Rs. 41.5 lakh (ex-showroom, national capital).

This has been Mercedes-Benz India’s 3rd consecutive introduction for the consumers. It already introduced the innovative GL-Class sport utility vehicle along with A-Class premium hatchback.

Whilst the E200 CGI edition of the E-Class is valued around Rs. 41.5 lakh, the E250 CDI is valued at around Rs. 44.8 lakh.

Mercedes-Benz India has also rolled out a limited launch version E250 CDI at a price of Rs. 49.90 lakh.

The new E-Class arrives with the cosmetic up gradations. The vehicle looks similar to that of the vehicle introduced on this year’s Detroit Motor Show.

The most apparent transformation is the arrangement of the innovative bumper along with headlights, as the split headlight assembly is now twined in a single shape with light-emitting diode basics for the low beam as well as DRLs.

The front outlook of the innovative E-Class obtains a novel framework; revamped headlamps with light-emitting diode DRLs, turning it look more strong-growing than before. The back end of the innovative E-Class boasts a refurbished back lamp group as well as exhaust tips.

On the inner side, the innovative E-Class acquires a few design up-gradations, and adorns a renovated dashboard, latest multi-functional steering wheel with gearstick paddles (typical), restyled aircon vents in addition to control handles. The command structure has a novel screen and obtains a Sat Nav and a DVD player in addition.

The New Mercedes-Benz E-Class boasts of 2 engine choices including petrol and diesel.

The vehicle provides an outstanding fuel economy of 18.6 kilo meter per liter and 22 kilo meter per liter for both petrol and diesel model, respectively.

Mr. Eberhard Kern, MD & chief executive officer, Mercedes-Benz India pointed out on the introduction of the novel E-Class, “The novel E-Class with its combination of striking new design idiom, ground-breaking Intelligence Assistance Systems, exemplary security and comfort traits, comfy appointments and top notch fresh range of infotainment arrangements, generates a complete new standard in the luxury full-size section. With over 2000 parts and components utilized, the latest E-Class unquestionably is the ‘Best E-Class ever’ and reiterates Mercedes-Benz’s art as the innovators of technical improvements towards safety, design, presentation and ease. Its new sensitive design strengthened with the IASs, reiterates the E-Class’ place as the most coveted luxury car in its section. The innovative E-Class is a totally ultra-modern package–and an extremely pleasingly packaged one at that.”

  • Fuel tank capacitance of 80-litres, 1100 kilometer run with petrol and 1300 kilometer run with diesel
