New BMW Z4 Roadster sDrive35i is launched in India for Rs. 68.9 lakh at a showroom in Pune. While the Z4 sDrive35i with the ‘Design Pure Traction Package’ is launched for Rs. 69.9 lakh.
New Design Scheme (Design Pure Traction Package) is introduced for increased individuality.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Philip Von Sahr, President, BMW Group India, said, “The classical proportions and unmistakable athletic character, armed with a raft of design and equipment innovations, bring more excitement to the new Z4.”
However, the new Z4 doesn’t differentiates a lot on design than the old ones, but the slightly tweaked front grille and a new housing cluster for the signal lamp on sides makes it all.
The engine bay of new Z4 is powered by a BMW TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder in-line petrol motor churning out the 306HP. Twin turbocharger with Double-VANOS and High Projection injection attached to the motor involves it to do 0-100kmph in just 5.1 seconds with the top-speed rated at 250kmph. Complementing to all the technicalities, seven-speed Sport automatic transmission justifies the gearing ratios to mount the desired notches at its best.
