Datsun is on the edge of jumping into the market, waiting for the green flag to be waived off by GO, its first product from the brand. GO is from the compact car category, and is said to derive a number of model plates on its platform.
Confronted to have one more vehicle at Delhi Auto Expo 2014, apart from the GO and GO+ (MPV), an official sketch of premium hatchback have surfaced, which looks claiming the rivalries of with Swift, Ritz, Figo and their likes. Hence, only sketchy information can be noted down, where front grille remains the prominent to Datsun brand.
Overall styling cues speaks of Japanese design language with the flaws taken from drawing board of mother brand Nissan, and also to an extent Honda. The winning stroke on this sketch is the line which is transverse from front bumpers to the tail lamps at rear. Shedding more light on aerodynamics, waistline appears to be rising at rear. In fact, tail lamps may have been taken from the new Honda Jazz and new CR-V, or else from the bay of Volvos, been plotted in vertical manner. The alloys and headlamps look more radical than anything else on the car. It can be speculated, the headlights may see some LED treatments; but when preferred Datsun as the low-cost brand from Nissan, then it may not be reality on it in the production.
