Nissan India Declares October Sales

Nissan has made declaration that it has recorded a year-to-date sales increase of around 88% with a growing figure of 23642 vehicle units from the month of April to the month of October 2012 as against 12570 vehicle units it sold during the corresponding period in the last year (2011).

The company’s domestic sales for the last month period remained at 1862 vehicle units.

The locally made hatchback comprising Micra and large Sunny sedan added largely to the sale numbers, whilst the X-TRAIL lifestyle sport utility vehicle, Teana premium sedan plus iconic 370Z sports vehicle consisted of the left over sales.

Orders placements are also on track for the company’s third domestic model, the brand new urban-class utility vehicle Evalia.

Mr. Nitish Tipnis, Director-Marketing & Sales, Hover Automotive India (HAI), Nissan sole and exclusive distributor in the Indian market, stated that their total sales volume trend is very cheering and they project augmented demand accompanying their recently rolled out festival offers in which client has a weekly chance to obtain refund on the purchase and gaining 500 grams of gold.
