As per certain media reports, Nissan will likely be launching the Kicks SUV in India in the third quarter of 2018. The Kicks was globally unveiled last year and is already on sale in Brazil.

Nissan India hasn’t yet revealed any official information about the Kicks’ potential launch in the country. The India-spec Kicks will reportedly be built on an updated version of Renault’s M0 platform, which underpins the Duster. This updated version of the M0 platform is also expected to be used in the upcoming Renault Kaptur crossover.
As the Nissan Kicks in India will be built on the M0 platform, it will likely be powered by a 1.6-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. These are the same engines that currently power the Duster and are expected to be offered with the upcoming Renault Kaptur as well.
