Nissan Launches 2013 Facelift Teana In Malaysia

Teana is one of the plush offerings from Japanese that had made some envy in the industry because of its comfort, engine specifications, looks and the overall extensively stretched legroom. All luxury was breaded in a very affordable price tag.

Teana facelift was a due to the changing environment as it looks a bit tad in the fast and ‘fluidic’ era. So to get stride in its way, Teana is now launched with a mild facelift in Malaysia. The new version does carries only cosmetic tweaks and not the technical ones, namely new front grille, rear lip spoiler, chromed stance on front bumpers and doors, Blind Spot Warning (BSW) and other minute tit-bit.

Firstly getting to the BSW, it is an indication system which warns the driver about fast passing vehicles that rear view mirror is not able to portray. For matching those furious junkies a 24GHZ radar sensors are mounted on its rear that sends indications on LED, placed on driver’s side-mounted mirrors.

Remarkably black interiors are the smoky refreshed bits, as assimilates well with 2.5 liter V6 petrolhead under the hoods. Out of total derivations, 182 HP and 228 Nm of torque can be achieved to the core. However, pricing remains almost same, but includes a minor premium rise.

We expect this same model to land in India as well, hopefully been shortlisted in our Exclusive Report of Datsun India launch. Nissan SUV X-trail is also a due but let’s see when it will be rolled out.
