Porsche Cayman sports car disclosed at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show

Porsche has disclosed that their new Caymen is lower, longer, lighter and quicker, more professional and more potent as compared to their earlier generation model. The latest 2014 Porsche Cayman will be exhibited in two editions comprising the Cayman and Cayman S.

Boasting a new longer wheelbase and longer track, the latest compact two-seater, mid-engine sports vehicle will provide a superior driving taste. The latest sports vehicle will carry dual engines that the company says will deliver extra power and enhanced fuel competence.

As per reports, the latest 2014 Porsche Cayman, said to be 30 kilograms lighter as compared to the outgoing vehicle, is catered by 2.7L flat six, which produces maximum power of 275 bhp, with the highest pace of 266 kilometer per hour and a 0-100 kilometer per hour rushing time of 5.4 seconds, offering a fuel consumption rate of 7.7l/100 kilometers (12.98 kilometer per litre), which is 15% above the preceding Cayman.

The 3.4-liter engine will be equipped in the new car that generates 325 horsepower.

Porsche has picked the United States, and chiefly LA, to disclose the latest 2014 Porsche Cayman to the globe as the U.S. market and California carries on to be the globe’s biggest Porsche market. Porsche has seen bigger gains in 2012 hitting a record in the first 10 months. The company said in October alone, 3,211 innovative Porsche vehicles were delivered to clients for a considerable 41% gain as against the same month of 2011.
