Renault Lodgy Bookings Open; Launch Soon

Gearing up for the launch, dealers of Renault in India had started accepting the bookings of Lodgy for a price as low as Rs 50,000. The MPV of Renault belongs to the low-cost brand Dacia in international markets, but since such products do well in our nation, this MPV too can earn a huge amount of profit for the company, like Duster.

However, the launch was stated to happen in the month of April, which could see the segmentation of Lodgy against the likes of Toyota Innova on spec-sheet, but on pricing it may compete the likes of Honda Mobilio, Maruti Ertiga and more of this segment.

As far as the reports are concerned, this MPV had completed test rounds of media journalists from this country, and some of them had literally filed a good response with regards to the buying sense of Indian mentality and purpose this vehicle serves.

In the engine bay, Renault’s famous K9K diesel engine jinxed there produces power in two states of tunes: 85PS and 110PS, the same as in Duster. Going by the dimensions and white papers of the vehicle, Indian version is loaded with more equipments than the internationally available model. For example, various chrome strips are on the body, cabin receives reverse parking sensors, Media navigation system, ABS, EBD and lots more. Some variants on the middle row received captain seats, whereas a one of it was also found with the flat bench in the middle. As per the feedbacks, third row is generous than the others. When folded down a large space emerges, and one can even remove it completely out of the car if need a literally huge space. French carmaker had even provided scope for the second rows to also fold, which further translates a huge bunker to transport anything just lesser than a house.

Keeping fingers crossed, we expect this MPV may sell in numbers because of the space it holds in the cabin.
