Shreyans Hall gets overwhelming response at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo

Visitors to the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo have given the Shreyans Hall a very fabulous response. Shreyans Hall was one of the most frequently visited podiums at this expo as it displayed iconic brands including Ducati, Maserati, Porsche, Ferrari and Bombardier Recreational Products. The Hall recorded a visit of more than 200,000 enthusiasts of automobiles, who went in to have a glimpse of their most favored brands and the authorities also received 250 plus enquiries from interested customers.

Chairman of Shreyans, Ashish Chordia has said that they were extremely happy to witness the unprecedented response from visitors who visited the hall during the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. The response confirmed their belief that the products of the company attracted a huge amount of curiosity and enthusiasm thereby making India a very important market for all the brands that the company represented including BRP, Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche and Ducati. Here is a look at some of the products that had been displayed at the Shreyans Hall.

Ferrari California:

This is a car that has been designed having a DNA for race tracks. This is the first time that a road car from Ferrari has been featured with a V8 engine that has been mid-front mounted; the car has been completely built with aluminium. The typical architecture of Ferrari has been retained in this car with 900 angle provided between its two cylinder banks along with 1800 angle between its cranks. 4300cc displacement engine has been provided, which generates a peak power of 460Hp at 7,750rpm. The peak torque level of the car is 485Nm at 5000rpm. 75% of the peak torque figure is achieved at 2250rpm only. The Ferrari California can accelerate from standing position to 100kmph within 4 seconds having a blistering top speed of 310kmph. The starting price of this car has been kept at Rs.2.27 crore.

Ferrari FF:

This revolutionary car is the most versatile and powerful vehicle that Ferrari has ever created. The four-seater car has been provided with a four-wheel drive and has been equipped with a V12 engine that has the capability of generating a maximum power of 660Hp. This vehicle is offering a totally new approach to the sporting theme of the Grand Tourer. This is the first time that Ferrari has come out with a four wheel drive and the other major innovation on the part of the car maker is the effortless manner in which it has molded the high performing sports car with the usability and versatility of Grand Tourer thereby creating a very innovative design. The starting price of this car has been kept at Rs.3.42 crore.

Maserati Quattroporte:

This car from Maserati has won a lot of awards and has been a consistent and strong performer for the car maker both in terms of sales as well as performance on the road. The Quattroporte starts this car range, which then graduates to the Quattroporte S that has been provided with a V8 4.7L engine. The range is completed by its flagship Quattroporte Sport GT S sports sedan. This sports sedan has been provided with a V8 4.7L, which generates a maximum power of 440Hp at 7000rpm while generating a peak torque of 490Nm, which however generates a more aggressive performance. The starting price of this car has been kept at Rs.1.2 crore.

Maserati Quattroporte

Maserati GranCabrio:

This car has been recognized as one of the most beautifully designed vehicles in the world by automobile experts and has been achieving significant success in almost all markets and has been exceeding the sales targets that the company has set for it. The engine of the GranCabrio, which is naturally aspirated, has the capacity of generating a maximum power of 450Hp along with a peak torque of 510Nm. The Sport variant of the GranCabrio has been provided with a peak speed of 285kmph whereas it sprints to a speed of 100kmph in just 5.2 seconds. It has been provided with automatic transmitting six-speed gearbox, which also includes a super-fast software called MC Auto Shift that has been specially designed for the Sports variant. The car has a starting price of Rs.1.43 crore.

This Can-Am roadster from BRP has been attracting a lot of automobile enthusiasts since it first made its appearance in the market in the year 2007. Both the touring (RT) as well as Sports (RS) variants of this Can-Am roadster has been able to bring an innovation in driving experience of enthusiasts of power sports. The bike has been provided with a lot of automotive technologies as well as onboard features and hence is able to provide a completely new experience in terms of driving this motorcycle. The 2012 Delhi Auto Expo has been the forum through which any BRP Product has been displayed in India for the first ever time.

Ducati:

Ducati is known worldwide for producing the best bikes that has been seen so far and the host of racing championships that the company has won bears testimony to this fact. Ducati has displayed a complete range of its bikes at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo including its Multistrada, Superbike, Diavel and Monster motorcycle ranges. Alongside displaying all these models, Ducati has also unveiled a bike on the 6th of January, which has been exclusively designed for Asian markets, the Monster 795.

Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid:

The Porsche Cayenne has been offered in five variants that also includes a Diesel only version. The car is expected to play an important role in the Indian auto market. The Porsche Cayenne has been able to achieve benchmark levels in terms of the sporting finesse, performance, luxury and comfort it offers amongst all cars in its segment. The S Hybrid variant has been showcased at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. The starting price of this car is Rs.76 Lakh.

Porsche 911 Carrera:

This 911 sports car has been said to achieve groundbreaking levels in terms of technology. With the rich experience of 48 years that the Porsche brand has, it has always been able to deliver improved versions of its sports cars. Customer retention has been one of the main reasons why this car has been so successful as all the phases of evolution of the 911 has been well accepted by its customers, who are also committed to do the same in the future. The car is being offered at a starting price of Rs.1.1 crore.
