Skoda Auto India Limited, in a bid to make their executive class sedan, the Skoda Laura more appealing, have launched a new variant. This new variant is named as the Laura Tsi Classic. Skoda knows that all its Laura variants are high priced ones and command a premium over the others. The Classic variant would now be the base variant and as expected, it wouldn’t have many of the features found on its more costlier siblings.

The features which have been given a miss in this variant are the rear air conditioning vents, front fog lamps, lumbar support adjustment, leather strappings from the steering wheel, brake lever and gear knob, storage compartment from under the front passenger seat and also rear parking sensors. Moreover, the classy alloy wheels from its Ambiente version have been replaced with steel wheels and wheel covers. Moreover, the central infotainment system now gets only a single CD player for company. The best part of this deal is that the new variant is cheaper by Rs 1 lakh from its Ambient version. The new retail price for this very capable luxury sedan is now Rs 12 lakhs (ex-show room, Mumbai). We at Indiandrives would give this deal the thumbsup.
