We don’t find Mahindra anymore on a troll these days, but altogether it is a different story the much owned brand SsangYong concentrated on the Seoul Motor show a lot, gave us the XAV concept. None derivation could get figured out from such an equation of the XAV concept at the moment. Still, we believe the model is envisioned to showcase future products of the company that are in the pipeline.

The openness in its nature to mimic style of a convertible will give the owners an airy feel inside cabin. The sharp cuts on front, angular wheel arches, upright windscreen, frameless doors, boxy attire-less-curvaceous gimmicks are the visions deployed to entice the next-gen buyers.

To its rear, wraparound rear windscreen, blackened pillars, scuff plates (on front and rear both), exhausts oozed out of the plate shows their worth of adding aggressiveness to the concept.

Inside the cabin, leather was seen in ample. There were aluminum accents on the steering wheel. For the most, two LCD displays for air-condition and infotainment took the credit for most of technological advancement inside.

It wasn’t all the one could find at XAV. Air-suspension, run-flat tires feature, Smart Motion Control tech to judge road-condition ahead and adaptively steers the car are some other interesting features. Power is fed by a 1.6-litre engine transferring traction to the rear wheels. Assisting it is an electric motor that propels the gush from engine to front wheels via an e-4WD system.
