Suzuki Swift 4X4 Crossover introduced in UK

Suzuki has made declaration about the launching of a 4×4 version of the Swift in the United Kingdom that is presently obtainable in the Japanese and some other European nations.

The vehicle will be available by August 2013 and will be obtainable with only with the 1.2-litre petrol engine.

The vehicle will be accessible in two options comprising SZ3 and SZ4. The SZ3 edition has little visual change from standard Swift aside from the 25 millimeter augmented ride height and the 4×4 badging.

The SZ4, in contrast, comes packed with front as well as back skid plates, black wheel arch additions and black side skirts.

Electronic folding door mirrors and daytime running lights also feature as standard equipment.

Rates for the 4WD Swift gets positioned at INR 10.44 lakh for the base SZ3 and INR 11.89 lakh for the higher specification SZ4 car.

The rates are almost 500 Great Britain Pound lesser than the corresponding 2WD cars as the firm is providing a value-added tax free cost for the 4×4 till September end.

With the prominent entrance of the Cross Polo, there is an option that the Swift ‘Crossover’ will hit the Indian market, without the 4×4 system certainly, provided Maruti-Suzuki manages to keep the costs under control.
