Tata Nano to make its way to Brazil soon

That the entire world sat up and took notice of the world’s cheapest car, the Tata Nano is a known thing. Several countries have been evincing their interest in getting the Nano across to their region and one such country is Brazil. Recently, the Governor of Minas Gerais, which is one of the most populated states in Brazil, visited India and it was him who actually had this idea after seeing the Nano on Indian roads, to see the Nano playing on Brazilian roads.

Antonio Augusto Anastasia, the Governor, met Mr Ratan Tata and discussed the possibility of taking the Nano to South America. Not only this, the two discussed at lengths about having good bilateral relations between the two countries. The governor also wanted Indian industrialists to make a substantial investment in the Brazilian region so that the relations between the countries are strengthened even more. Already Nepal and Sri Lanka are the two countries which receive the Tata Nano as CBU units and in a bid to make the car even cheaper there, Tata Motors is considering taking the CKD route.
