Toyota has nothing exceptional to fume except for a certain facelift or a makeover to the existing models. One more time off its sleeve after the Innova facelift, company has launched Etios and Liva facelift in India.
Reporting the changes, they can be expressed as the revamped front grille, which gets a chrome treatment for higher trims, complemented by standard dual-airbags on all variants. Though, the base trims aren’t noteworthy of additional gimmick except the said. The mid variants in the line-up are added with larger LCD and a clock for instrument cluster, seatbelt warning buzzer for driver, headlamps and doors ajar, fabric upholstery, couple of speakers at rear. The top of line trims doses their buyers with a 2-DIN music system with Bluetooth connectivity and aux-in, steering mounted controls, rear parking sensors, cooled glovebox, electronically-adjustable ORVMs, fresh set of alloys and new faux-wood finish for armrests inside the cabin.
Aesthetically, the badges of Etios and Liva facelift are also changed, where the base model is wearing none of the trim nomenclature. The V and VD trim is discontinued, whereas the G and GD remains intact. The special pack of G and GD are now badged as V and VD. Earlier, the V and VD trims that is discontinued is now renamed as the new top-end VX and VXD.
Under the bonnet, there remains the same 1.2L and 1.5L petrol alongside the 1.4L diesel.
