Updated Mahindra Thar launched

Without any fanfare, and mud sloshing activities, updated Mahindra Thar makes debut silently in India without the price hike.

Though the updates that Mahindra had made on its new Thar sounds very simple, but makes huge differences when one goes out there with it on the road (most probably on off-road).

Changes can be named as, fixation of a new cross bar between A and B pillar for improving Thar’s body rigidity, deletion of front axle’s auto locking hubs and fixation of fixed flange setup in its replacement, Bolero VLX driven air-con switches, lowered rear-seats by 6-7mm for more headroom, replacement of pins with the screws for fixation of roof over driver’s head, and the new strong chunk of door handles instead of the old and weak ones. These changes were done on the basis of inputs received from customers.

Mahindra Thar
Old Thar owners need not to worry about the changes that the Indian carmaker had made on its off-roader, they too can do it by themselves, i.e. the cross bar between A and B pillar can be welded easily, while the servicemen can remove auto locking hubs and fix it with the fixed flange without much hassle, and the rest of them are quite simple to be deployed at the servicing bay.

However, by not hiking its price for the updates Mahindra planted on the Thar, it seems carmaker does not wanted to spoil the upcoming festive season sales, and may also maybe desiring to give its customers a reason to rejoice with some off-roading activities at the weekends.
