Audi India Registers Growth of 57.42% in May 2013

Cruising with the unexpected notches, Audi posted sales figure of 710 units sold in May 2013. The bespoken figure had responded a growth of 57.42% in operations when compared with the units sold in same period of last year. The four ringed badge had also portrayed an increment of 24.8% during Jan’13 to May’13 era. Hence it was revealed when the outcome of 4096 units from this year’s era is compared against the 3282 units of Jan’12 to May’12.

Speaking his intuition on this achievement, Mr. Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India said, “2013 is proving to be a great year for Audi in India. Not only are we achieving spectacular growth month on month, we also achieved market leadership in the luxury car segment in India. It is now important to sustain this momentum to reinforce our leadership and I am confident that we will achieve our sales target of 10800 units (+20%) by the end of this year.”

Just recently opened a new showroom in Bhubaneswar, Audi India had clocked the total number of 26 world-class showrooms here.

Up keeping the product line, Audi had rolled out many international models here on our local shores. The recent addition of new R8 and the madder R8 V10 Plus are the evidences of our claims. Meanwhile, the Q5 facelift is not meant to be trimmed off from the list which in line is escorted with Q3 under the 2.0 TFSI avatar.

In the blue prints of four ringed German, it is targeting to open more 34 new dealerships till the year end, and along with it, also to maintain its leadership position in SUV segment intact. To an addition, the ‘Audi sportscar experience’ of the Ingolstadt based automaker is proving good results and hence apart from Mumbai, the organization is planning to stretch it further into the cities of Bhubaneswar and Delhi.
