BMW is very much popular for its sheer performance with luxury, and but of course 7 Series is the superlative of all those arguments.

After launching the 7 Series in Malaysia, this Bavarian moniker now took a turn towards India and unveiled it’s much anticipated as well as updated niche cabin in Jaipur yesterday. It is an ultimate premium offering so the legends like His Highness Maharaja Gaj Singh II of Jodhpur was present at the event, along with Bollywood actress Dia Mirza, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar and lastly none other than Mr. Philipp von Sahr, Head of BMW India.

This time BMW had played differently, as initially made an exclusive preview and then the official launch after a gap of some days. The unveiling ceremony was held at the auction of Indian Treasures which is prominently known as “Indian Bazaar”. Among many others, Suhel Seth, Mukesh Ambani and his wife Tina Ambani added more charm to this lavishing evening.

Talking about the car, it was looking similar to the Malaysia specific with more aggressive front kidney grille, all time running  LEDs, ORVMs with integrated side indicators, refreshed bumpers on front as well as rear, horizontal chrome stance on air intake, reworked subtle tail lamps and an integrated chrome strip on rear.

Engine specifications and price tags are not yet revealed but interiors also did a sneak peek at the Royal paddock.

On inside, one now can feel better than the outgoing model because seats are reworked and had been furnished to perfection with added bits like stretched ambient lighting on B-pillars, optional 9.2” screen, more chrome streaks and various other minute tweaks.

Though what if the Germans had not divulged the drivetrain, our speculations goes with 3.0 liter inline six-cylinder TwinPower Turbocharged yielding 258hp and 310Nm of torque.
