Ferrari is all set to return to India and it would officially begin its Indian journey from tomorrow with the launch of the California T convertible. At Rs.3.3 crore (ex-showroom Mumbai), the California T would the cheapest Ferrari offering here in India.
Powered by a 3.9-liter bi-turbo V12 552bhp engine, the California T delivers varying torque at different gear levels – higher the gear higher the torque figure. What it does is it gives a continuous sense of acceleration and reduces turbo lag to a great deal.
Apart from the California T, Ferrari will put up its entire lineup for sale in India. Cars that would be on the showroom shelves will include the likes of 488 GTB, F-12 Berlinetta, 458 Speciale, 458 Spider and the Ferrari FF. Bookings for these cars have already opened. Initially these cars would be sold through two Ferrari dealerships that are currently being built in Mumbai and Delhi.
But here is one bad news if you want to lay your hands on one of these Ferrari gems right away. The company is currently accepting bookings for 2016 as its quota for this year has already been sold out.
