Indian to Get Ford EcoSport Automatic in 2013

As per reports, Ford EcoSport has been rolled out in the Chinese market. The reports added that the vehicle has been introduced with the 1.5-litre petrol engine. The vehicle boasts of a 5-speed manual transmission as well as 6-speed automatic transmission.

The prize winning 1.0-litre Ford EcoBoost engine will be available in the market when the facility to make this engine will be all set by the coming month.

In the Indian market, the EcoSport will be accessible with the award winning engine along with 1.5-litre petrol engines.

Moreover, the car will also comprise the 1.5-litre oil burner.

The DCT will be obtainable on the EcoSport in the Indian market; however, it appears that it could arrive only on the petrol.

The reports added that the EcoSport will be introduced in India by the first quarterly period of the coming year.

Reportedly, Ford India has recorded a small increase in its wholesale numbers, which remained at 10,948 vehicle units in the month of October as compared to the 10,906 vehicle units sold during the same period of 2011.

The yet-to-be introduced Ford EcoSport is projected to turn an innovative volume puller for the American auto firm.
