The Mahindra XUV500 fans wont have to bear with the agonizing 3-5 month delay to bring home this SUV. To cope up with the staggering response for the Mahindra XUV500, the Nashik plant will be enhanced to produce 3000 units a month. “We will be ramping up of production to 3,000 units per month,” Mahinda and Mahindra Automotive division Senior Vice-President (Marketing) Vivek Nayer, told the reporters.
The car received a booking of 25,000, a phenomenal response in just 10 days from the start of the second phase. In the first phase, the SUV grabbed a booking of 8000 units.
