Once again Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd has generated roar amongst SUV enthusiasts in India by re-launching its latest mean machine XUV500 in the Indian market. It all started off with a humble Logan jeep and then Bolero followed by Thar and ultimately Scorpio which even now remains one of the most demanding SUVs in India. Few months back when XUV500 was launched in the market, the critics were all praises for its sleek and diabolic bodyline. Along with that the performance delivered by XUV500 is commendable. Thus once again Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd decided to open the bookings for Mahindra XUV500 and was taken aback by the massive brouhaha surrounding the car. In its first two days of re-opening bookings, Mahindra & Mahindra received a staggering 5900 applications for bookings and now they plan to make bookings available till longer time.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd selected nearly 19 cities for the re-launching of Mahindra XUV500. Starting with the prime cities Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai followed by Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Pune, Hyderabad, Ludhiana, Chandigarh/Panchkula, Kochi, Patiala, Jalandhar, Trissur, Calicut, Trivandrum, Nasik, Nagpur and finally Coimbatore. By launching XUV500 in these important locations all over India, Mahindra plans to give a perfect start to XUV500.

Mahindra XUV 500 generates groundbreaking response on its re-launch
There was a time when Scorpio used to be one of the most revered Sports Utility Vehicle on the Indian roads and the bookings for Scorpio were more than that of XUV500. Thus now by launching Mahindra XUV500 on such a big scale Mahindra aims to generate the same response that it did for Scorpio. In October last year Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd had launched the XUV500 with huge expectations. The launch turned fruitful for them as Mahindra recorded a confounding 8000 plus bookings in just the first 10 days of the launch across 5 prime cities. This time there are 19 cities and thus the bookings are predicted to be escalating up to 25000 within the first 10 days if the rate of booking is maintained as it is now.

Presently Mahindra has decided to end the booking by 3rd February and hopes to generate a bigger wave of buyers this time. This time Mahindra has decided upon a new plan to promote Mahindra XUV500 as they plan to conduct a draw this year after the first 7200 bookings. Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd officials feel that initiating the innovative manner of bookings by draw will make the booking process pretty transparent fair. A professional services team that goes by the name Deloitte Touché Tohmatsu India Pvt Ltd has been given the authority of conducting the draws under specific terms and conditions ascertained between Mahindra and DTTIPL. Certain specifications of the draw scheme have been updated on the official website of the group.
