Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 Launched in Japan

Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 – is what everyone in the world wishes to have in their garages, especially those who loves going off-road than on a fast track. But its beefy price tag has deterred this giant into our dreams even.

Grabbing our attention once again, the G63 AMG 6×6 is launched in Japan for a price tag of ¥80,000,000 ($783,280 / €566,080).

However, the officials of Mercedes-Benz unveiled the G63 AMG 6×6 at a press conference in Tokyo and had announced to receive only five orders between April 25 and August 31. It is said to be delivered within year of 2014.

Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 is a host of impeccable off-roading goodies. The auxiliary fuel tank, 18-inch bead lock wheels, 37-inch all-terrain tires, carbon fiber fender flares, five differential locks and a two-tone design interior is what that lugs it around. More importantly, for the wanderers, tire pressure adjustment system, covers the adjustment in tyre pressure related to all the bad road sand, rocks, and puddles.

A twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine pushes this desert eater for 544 PS (400 kW) and 760 Nm (560 lb-ft) of torque via a seven-speed automatic transmission. Weighs at 3775kg, the 0-100 kmph is grossed in less than 6 seconds, whereas electronically-limited top speed is pointed at 160 km/h (100 mph).
