The MINI John Cooper is expected to be unveiled by January 2014 at the North American International Auto Show which will be held in Detroit. This car has been introduced by one of the most popular car makers, BMW. This third generation car will be produced with the aim to extend its line-up with the works variant.
The production of the car is expected to start full scale by the middle of next year. At the Detroit Show, the company is going to unveil the Works variant on which the production will be based. In comparison to its predecessor, the car has a wider track and a longer wheelbase. This third generation MINI Cooper has been made powerful with a strong thrust and is also tuned in order to enhance its agility. The front exterior of the car features a large air intake channel along with a front grille and LED headlights. In order to add a sportier look to it, the car also has a spoiler as well as side skirts. These features also help the car to maintain its stability at high speed and sharp turns. The car is expected to feature a 2litre turbo engine which is capable of producing power of up to 217bhp.
