Rolls-Royce Ghost V-Specification Introduced in India

Rolls Royce Motor Cars, the ultra-luxury automaker is delighted to announce the launch of Ghost V-Specification; a limited series of standard Ghost and Ghost Extended Wheelbase models, which will be offered for customers to commission immediately. Mr. Torsten Muller-Otvos, Chief Executive Officer at Rolls Royce Motor Cars said this limited series celebrates one of the defining attributes of Ghost, the superb 6.6 liter Rolls Royce V12 powerplant. Since its launch in 2009, an extraordinary combination of remarkable driving dynamics and assured presence has endeared Ghost to the new generation of highly discerning businessmen and women.

Motivation for the Rolls Royce Ghost V-Specification comes from a V12 6.6 liter powerplant that generates 593 horsepower with 780 newton meters of torque. Consequently, the car accelerates from 0-100km/hr 4.7 seconds with the top speed of 250 kilometers per hour. Surprisingly enough, it’s more fuel economical as compared to standard Ghost model and produces 2 fewer grams of CO2. The all-new Ghost V-Spec will be offered in regular and long wheelbase versions with features including 21 inch alloy wheels, bespoke clock, V-Spec badges on dashboard and seats and special steel inlays.

Stylishly applied design touches hint at V-Spec’s inherent vitality. Shoppers can choose from the company’s 44,000 hue palette or from 5 exterior shades (Black Sapphire, Graphite, Arctic White, Infinity Black and Black Kirsch). Optional features include 21 inch part polished wheels and visible chrome exhausts, which further add expression to the vehicle’s dynamic promise.

Mr. Herfried Hasenoehrl, General Manager for Emerging Markets at Rolls Royce Motor Cars said the standard Ghost and Extended Wheelbase models have been some of the most successful models in the country and has been feted by celebrities, maharajas of business and other highly successful individuals.

It will be available for the price of Rs. 5.20 crore,whicis Rs. 30 lakh more unlike the standard Ghost model.
