Ssangyong Rodius Spotted in Mumbai

The Big and Stylish, Ssangyong Rodius was introduced to the world at 2013 Geneva Motor Show. As known it is a 11 seater vehicle, it distributes the seating capacity in four row seating arrangement. Most probably this vehicle falls in between the premium segment of large MPVs and crossovers, which is said to drive the power from a 2.0-litre e-XDi200 diesel engine churning out 155bhp of power and 360Nm of torque. Bespoken engine is mated with 6-speed manual gearbox, sending power to all four wheels via a 4WD system.

As the same is launched in Korea too, we hope this vehicle, that is said to be standing inside the Mahindra plant, must be here for checking the possibility on our local roads. At the time of its unveiling in Switzerland, Anand Mahindra, Chairman and MD of Mahindra group was very excited to receive responses for same and had also tweeted about it, reclining couldn’t hold his quench to know results of this bug for Indian shores.

However, it is too early for us to comment on this newbie but as it was spied inside the Mahindra’s plant of Mumbai, we can expect official may lend us some good news in the near future. Meanwhile, do keep your eyes roving. Being in India, it may take a stroll on the local roads. Watch for its glimpses whenever you hit the road next time, and this one had landed here without any camouflage, so no regrets in identification mistakes to be accepted. Its long and stylish body line flaunts all dynasties at a glance.
