Tata Motors and Colors, the Leading Hindi general entertainment channel, seems to be enjoying a profitable partnership since the TV show 24 which was aired, lead by Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor. Now another announcement from the duos, the automaker had tied up with the channel’s upcoming show “Mission Sapne”. The show will focus on societal welfare, and both the brands will get to portray themselves for the unique CSR-led initiative. Mission Sapne is set to hit airwaves on 27th April, 2014, every Sunday at 8.00pm on COLORS.

The show is produced by Sobo Films and hosted by Sonali Bendre. Mission Sapne’ concept is to bring in the celebrities from various walks and leverage their fame for the benefit of common man. Though, the concept is quite unique in itself from the perception of celebs, the audiences too will get an opportunity to see their favourite stars step into the shoes of common man for a day and earn their daily wage.

Hope so, this would at least give the celebs the idea how hard a common earns his life, and spends a small part of it to watch the movies, via which those movie stars enjoy fame of.

Mission will be inclusive of actors like Salman Khan (Barber), Varun Dhawan (Pattiwala), Harbhajan Singh (Namkeen seller), Mika Singh (Chaiwala), Ronit Roy (Cosmetic Seller), Ranbir Kapoor (Vada-pav seller), Ram Kapoor (Taxi driver), Karan Johar (Photographer), Drashti Dhami (Nimbu-mirchi seller) and Siddharth Malhotra (Vegetable vendor). This time the AC cabin and vanity will not be at their service to give the chills and other luxuries. The celebrity will move out in the scorching sun and would drive a taxi, sell vegetables or become a door-to-door salesman and use their talent, wit and star persona to bring a change in their ordinary and tough life.

Speaking about the partnership, Ankush Arora, SVP – Passenger Vehicles Business Unit (Commercial), Tata Motors, said, “At Tata Motors, we have always believed in putting our customers first and through our association, with COLORS for Mission Sapne, we hope to ingrain this thought further amongst our audiences. The show’s focus on working towards the betterment of the society has struck a chord in our hearts and we look forward to contributing, in our own little way, towards this cause.”
