Toyota cars are among the most dependable vehicles: JD Power Study

Japanese auto maker Toyota has once again proved that they got a bunch of most dependable and safest products in the market.

Seven of the Toyota, Lexus and Scion models have bagged the segment awards in the J D Power and Associates Vehicle Dependability Study in 2013, more than any other vehicle maker.

The study also shows that the Lexus vehicles ranked high in the dependability study for the second consecutive year by improving 15 problems/hundred. The Lexus’s RX SUV became the first SUV to lead the industry with the lowest number of reported problems that stands just about 57 problems per hundred and Toyota has bagged the same for the highest ranked non-premium automaker and has got a tie for the third place for the second year in a row.

The Vehicle Dependability Study performances by different vehicles in their respective segment are:

It shows a good example of Toyota’s commitment towards delivering highest standard for the quality, reliability and safety.

Lexus completes the survey as the highest ranking brand in the 2013 J D Power and Associated Initial Quality Study, vehicle Dependability Study, Customer Satisfaction Index and Sales satisfaction Index; a leading consumer award forum that has named Scion, Toyota and Lexus as the top three brands that offer reliability and has included them in the six out of the ten in “Best values for 2012”.

Toyota Motor Corporation has bagged as much as 18 awards for the Best Resale for their vehicles, which is more than any other automaker, has ever received in 2012. About 19 of the Toyota Motor Corporation vehicles made their way to the 2012 Top Safety Picks chosen by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, which more than any other auto manufacturer. 4 of their vehicle also got 5 stars from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in their new Car Assessment Program.
