Volkswagen India has launched its latest 2012 edition of the Volkswagen Touareg using the platform of the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. It has also showcased its latest edition Volkswagen Beetle and lifted the veils from its new XL1 concept car. On this occasion, Mr. Neeraj Garg addressed the crowd.
This is the first ever time that the 2012 edition of the Volkswagen Beetle has been unveiled, as far as India is concerned. The latest variant of the car has been provided with two options for its engine. The 1.2L TSI engine will have the capacity of producing a peak power of 105PS whereas the 1.4L TSI engine will generate a maximum power of 160PS.
The 2012 Volkswagen Touareg, which has been launched today, is expected to hit Indian roads within April 2012. It has been provided with a V6 3.0L TDI engine that has the capacity of generating maximum power of 245PS.
Volkswagen is also continuing with the company campaign titled “Think Blue” inside its stall premises.
