Volvo Opens New Dealership in Chandigarh

Marking its presence silently, but with strategic aggression, Volvo Auto India made moves smartly in the country, which now can be supported by the opening of its new dealership in Chandigarh.

Inaugurated the new showroom at the Industrial Area, Phase 2 behind LTS Hotel, Chandigarh, new showroom is spawned over an area of 2200 sqft.

The Volvo India’s new dealership is owned by Sumit Passi from Krishna Group. The said group already acquaints dealerships of Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, JCB Earth Moving Equipment, Honda 2-wheelers, Skoda Auto Passenger Cars, BMW Passenger Cars and other premium passenger cars. In short, the dealers’ group had good experience in selling the premium automobiles in India.

Volvo Opens New Dealership in Chandigarh

Commenting at the inauguration, Tomas Ernberg, Managing Director, Volvo Auto India said, “Buoyed by our increased acceptability among our valued customers in the last 2-3 years, we are now looking at further strengthening our foothold and expanding our reach in the Indian market. With the all new Volvo Retail Experience at the Chandigarh showroom, we have moved yet another step closer to our customers.”

Further, added by Sumit Passi, Dealer Principal, Krishna Auto Sales, he said, “We are extremely delighted to partner with Volvo Auto India. With safety, design and technology at the core of Volvo, we are certain that we shall help bring the luxury customers in this region closer to the brand.”

The Volvo dealership in Chandigarh will retail all the models of the Swedish auto brand. A workshop is also attached to the sales floor, and it was claimed to have 24 hour Helpline and would provide free lunch to the drivers waiting there.
