Yezdi Roadster 2022 Review | All You Need To Know | Quick Review |

The Yezdi Roadster 2022 is one of the three motorcycles that Yezdi has made a comeback with. The Roadster falls under the cruiser category of motorcycles and will rival the likes of the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Meteor 350, the Honda CB 350 & its sibling, the Jawa 42.

The Yezdi Roadster 2022 is launched at a price between Rs 1.98 – 2.06 Lakhs (ex-showroom), which places it in direct competition with its rivals.

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is the cheapest & the most popular in the segment. However, the new Roadster does come with impressive styling and features, which might compel riders to turn their heads towards the Yezdi Roadster.

The Yezdi Roadster uses the same engine as the other Yezdi bikes being launched, however, the tuning remains different to offer an experience of a cruiser. The cruiser is powered by a 334cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, this engine develops a healthy 29.7 HP at 7300 RPMs  & a torque figure of 29 Nm at 6500 RPMs. This engine is mated to a 6-Speed constant mesh gearbox. The torque is evenly distributed across the rev band, to provide a linear acceleration for highway cruising. The power band is equally good for the city riding experience, with a quick response from the throttle.

The styling of the Roadster indeed is contemporary as compared to the ongoing Enfield Classic 350. By the looks of it, you might expect it to be priced higher than it already is. The Roadster gets a balanced design language of retro and modern touches. The Roadster with the silhouette of a cruiser exhibits its visual weight across the design language giving it a muscular and planted look.

The Roadster gets a split seat set up for a comfortable riding experience for the rider as well as the pillion. Further, the blacked-out alloy wheels complement the beefy stance of the cruiser. Also, the Roadster is the only Yezdi to be offered with alloy wheels.  The attractive highlight of the Roadster would be the dual exhaust tips, which can be configured in either a matte or a chrome finish.

To make sure that the Roadster can handle the long cruising journeys as well as the unforgiving city traffic, it is manufactured with the right set of suspension & tyre setup.  The front gets telescopic fork and coil springs whereas the rear gets dual shock absorbers with gas canisters. What further enhances the riding experience is the tyre setup. The size of the alloy wheels up front is 18″, whereas the rear ones are 17”.

The Roadster weighs 184 Kg & comes with a fuel tank capacity of 12.5 Liters to offer a long range while cruising. The wheelbase measures 1440 mm & the seat height is a comfortable 790 mm.

The tough double-cradle chassis ensures the on-road mannerisms & offers great stability on a straight line as well as on the corners.

In terms of features and fitment, the Roadster is well equipped just like its siblings the Scrambler & the Adventure. For safety, it gets dual disc brakes, dual-channel ABS, which is designed by Continental. It also gets LED tail & headlamps, along with an LCD for the instrument cluster. Considering it to be an entry-level cruiser in the segment and the price at which it has been launched, the Roadster is well equipped to convince the buyers.

The Roadster can be configured in either matte or chrome finishing. In the matte finish, the Roadster can be configured in Smoke Grey, Steel Blue & Hunter Green. Whereas the chrome finish is only offered in  Gallant Grey & Sin Silver.

Bookings & test drives for the Roadster has already begun, so without any further delay, go out and ride it to feel the cruiser yourself.
