It has just being a week back when Mahindra’s new XUV500 was launched and Mahindra dealers have already registered more than 5000 bookings. As of now, the XUV500 is available only in 5 cities and those are Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai and Pune. The price range of this SUV is from Rs 10.8 lakhs to Rs 11.95 lakhs.
It is said that the XUV500 is India’s first SUV which is built on the car-like monocoque platform. Rajesh Jejurikar, Mahindra’s automotive division’s Chief Executive said that the entire company was pleased that their new SUV has been received with much enthusiasm all over the country. Even on social networking platforms, the XUV500 is a hit what with about 1.5 visitors thronging in to watch the live streaming of the XUV500 launch. The vehicle currently has a 6 weeks waiting period, however vehicles which were booked prior to the launch have already been dispatched to their respective owners.
