Tata with Pixel at the Geneva Motor Show

The most awaited motor show is starting today. Yes, it is the Geneva Motor Show. The only Indian company, as per the news, which is participating in the show is Tata Motors. They would be showing of the new Tata Manza, Tata Aria as also the Tata Nano Europa.

Moreover, Tata Motors would also display their city car concept which is a next generation small car, named the Tata Pixel. This car would be unveiled by Mr Ratan Tata himself.

Set to capture the world’s attention on it, as its smaller cousin, the Tata Nano did a few years back, this car promises to take away some of the market share from Maruti’s best selling Alto car. It is said to have a 3 pot diesel engine under the hood and would have two doors but would still seat 4 in relative comfort. It is also said to have a clear cut goal and that is fuel efficiency. Moreover, driveability would also be one of the key factors in this small diesel engine. The Tata Pixel is set to show the world Tata’s new design philosophy and this car was penned by Tata Motors European Technical Centre (TMETC), which is Tata’s European product design and development wing.
